David Routa scored two goals and added an assist to lead the charge on offence. He also scored a tally that was disallowed in a great game for him. Jakub Sykora, Jan Janoch, Voijtech Matejka, Adam Sochor, Cyril Valach and Jan Hacek all added single markers in the win.

Czech goalie Martin Altrichter made all 25 saves to earn the shut out. The Vikings used two netminders. Mason Lobreau started and allowing four goals on 26 shots, whole Cody Jaman surrendered four goals on 11 shots. Both teams entered the bronze medal game with 2-2 records.
