In addition, David Routa, of the Czechia University Selects was named MVP of the tournament scoring three goals and notching a tournament lead 11 points enroute to a bronze medal.

Routa and MacLean join an illustrious list of previous Viking Cup MVPs and top goaltenders that includes names such as Tuukka Rask, Sergei Brylin, and Henrik Lundqvist.
